Here he is! Born on 3rd February 2011, we are just coming through the first two weeks now and I am starting to feel like myself again! He is completely gorgeous, very chilled out and an easy baby- just very hungry! We had him weighed today and he's 7 pounds 10 ounces now, so he's put on about a pound in 2 weeks which I think is pretty good going (can't help feeling slightly proud of my milk- making abilities here!). His name means 'God sees and provides', it was a name my husband came out with right at the beginning of the pregnancy and it just stuck, there was no way he could have been anything else. We love it because it feels like a culmination of the past couple of years of our lives. I'm hoping to write more over the next few weeks about some of my experiences in these early days and of course my birth story.
